The Foundation achieves this goal when it funds and oversees the installation of a solar system, clean energy building enhancements as well as battery storage to a host charity that effectively services at-risk clients. With this expertise in place, the Foundation is able to accomplish the following on behalf of the recipient:I. Significantly increasing its resources by substantially reducing the cost of energy (for example, the pilot project for Teen Challenge in Ventura will save them in overhead approximately $250,000 over 20 years)II. Enhancing the charity’s pro-social message through a state of the art solar energy saving solution that distinguishes it from other non-profits in a very challenging marketplaceIII. Production of clean energy that reduces the carbon footprint and role models pro-social activity for other organizations.IV.
