Recently I have enjoyed working for Vartan Aviation as a Field Service Mechanic servicing new Boeing 787's. I am a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant with 20 years of honorable service as an aircraft maintainer. During my career I served in several different positions, dedicated crew chief, senior MOC (maintenance operations center) controller, shop supervisor, and element chief. In each position, I ensured that the mission was completed safely, by the book, and on time. My duty stations and deployments around the world have enhanced my appreciation for people from all different backgrounds and cultures.I have earned my CompTIA certification and am close to completing the Information Systems Specialist Associate degree program at Trident Technical College. I am married with four children, ages 12 through 21. I love building and launching model rockets with my kids. I enjoy camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and watching football with my family, and we attend air shows and car shows whenever we can. I believe that we all have a duty to serve our communities. As a teenager, I volunteered in the Civil Air Patrol and at the Florida Military Aviation Museum. As a volunteer patrol leader in Trail Life USA, I participate in numerous community projects with my family.
