6 Years’ experience as the refinery USW Process Safety rep, leading and collaborating in various process safety related functions, up to, including, but not limited to Incident Investigations, continued Contractor collaboration, Process Safety Council Co- chair, active engagement with ALL employees on PSM related topics, issues, and concerns. As the PS Rep, I collaborated with reps from other refineries as well as the company training department to put together 2 comprehensive workshops, one on Process Safety, the other on Human Factors. In total, the workshops trained 2,895 personnel. We also trained outside agencies Including OSHA Inspectors, multiple contract companies, as well as LACoFD Inspectors.

Process Operator for 2 process units, rising to Senior/ Head Operator (Coker and Sulfur Recovery Unit), responsible for troubleshooting process systems, implementing Lock Out/ Tag out isolations in accordance with permitting standards. Trained and qualified to operate multiple job duty assignments at both process units, including the console. Also, responsible for training of new operators assigned to the crew, providing solid operating guidance to maximize individual as well as crew strengths. Ensured high level of accountability with environmental standards including reporting.
