Collected field data; developed harvesting regimes, long term reforestation plans and social responsibility initiatives for local communities living in the concession areas. Provided technical advice for the development of policy related to community management and ownership of timber concessions in northern Mozambique, with equitable profit sharing with private timber harvesting enterprises.
