Robert Pritchard is an Australian based energy expert who is: * Executive Director of the Energy Policy Institute of Australia – Australia’s only apolitical, independent energy policy body * Managing Director of ResourcesLaw International, a specialist energy industry consultancy established in 1988* Chairman of the board of SMR Nuclear Technology Pty Ltd * Chairman of the board of the St Baker Energy Innovation Fund* A consultant in the Sydney office of the Australian law firm Piper Alderman* A lecturer in the Masters Program on Global Energy and Resources Law at the University of Sydney.Robert previously served for 9 years on the Finance Committee of the World Energy Council. He was the first Chairman of the Energy Law Section of the International Bar Association (IBA) and served for 4 years on the IBA Council.Robert also served for 4 years on the Advisory Committee of the CSIRO Energy Transformed Flagship Research Project.Robert has over 40 years’ experience advising on energy and infrastructure projects, spanning all forms of fossil fuels and renewables. He has often acted as a consultant to the APEC Energy Working Group.He has published widely on energy and climate change law and policy.
