• Constantly learns how to use, troubleshoot and repair hardware and software for the thousands of skus onsite, including staying current with changing technology.
• Interacts with Test Technicians when a problem arises. Attempts to solve the problem at the test technician’s desk without sending the unit to repair. Train the test technician on any methods used to prevent the unit.
• Sorts the items coming into repair appropriately. Interact with the skimmer (repair coordinator) team to ensure you understand what can be repaired under warranty, and send that to the skimmer team. Repair ONLY.
• Maintains current status on all work in progress.
• May need to research using phone/email/internet how to repair an item. May need to find manuals, call manufacturers, or research online.
