Troubleshoot network issues: wifi or hardwired connections. Troubleshoot network connections from the wall jack to the network switch (POE or internet connection issues). Rejoining computers to the domain (run software tools to unblock computers, then rejoining computers to the domain). Resolve display issues for laptops connected to docking stations and external monitors. Order replenishment computer equipment, ship and receive inventory, enter equipment received into data base. Remotely connect to clients systems to resolve hardware and software issues. Re-image systems with corrupt operating systems or systems that were applied to the wrong ministry. Rotate with coworkers to service clients in the Connect IT Bar, where clients are welcome to come in to have their service needs met without having to create a previous ticket: Replace computers or computer hardware, troubleshoot software hardware issues, drop off obsolete equipment, resolve cellphone issues or help setup cellphone devices for new user, etc. Use the Bernie Ticket system (ServiceNow) to open new tickets, or resolve client’s incident tickets in a timely fashion.
