• Coordinates hardware/software installations and upgrades. Distribute software to user desktops via Desktop Central or by manual installation as directed. Reimage or repair desktops.
• Perform cross-compatibility testing of patches, service packs, and hotfixes atop current desktop image.
• Conduct quality assurance testing of base images.
• Provide level two and three problem resolution for desktop related software and hardware,
• Receive, document and respond to incoming requests promptly.
• Work with user to better understand the nature of the issue

• Provide basic Help Desk coverage and support in an accurate, timely, and professional manner.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve all reported basic issues in a logical and systematic method.
• Prioritize work and set expectations for all incidents and requests.
• Identify and initiate proactive, basic solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with various desk side tasks (e.g. equipment deployments, equipment moves, etc.)
• Participate in a weekly On Call (24x7) rotation.

• Maintain, upgrade and repairing of all servers and computers running a variety of operating systems.
• Configure Active Directory to maintain user accounts, security and file sharing
• Work with vendors to troubleshoot 3rd party software
• Configure backup solution and disaster recovery plan
• Write IT policies that relate to security, The Internet, email, and third-party applications
• Respond to telephone calls, emails, and requests for technical support

• Assist student body with course material including Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and ISA (Internet Security Accelerator)
• Assist MCT with material preparation and classroom network technical support
• Administer, test and support Microsoft practice labs prior to student participation Test, troubleshoot and repair classroom computer equipment per instructor request
