Determined reasons for delays and planned recovery dates so corrective actions can be taken by appropriate personnel.• Contact outside departments to locate sources of critical materials needed by vendors necessary to meet or expedite delivery schedules.• Participate in material status review meetings.• Prepare reports on the status of delivery problems.• Inventory coordination; receiving, issuing and stocking of Space Flight Satellite parts. Support inventory accuracy and management using IFS system or similar integrated manufacturing system.• Utilize IFS or equivalent practices, evaluate data for inventory discrepancies and recommend solutions and process changes.• Manage the accuracy of time phased requirements in IFS and control shortages for all manufactured items.• Manage input of IFS product master data elements which affect lead time, order policies and inventory control requirements for manufactured parts.• Supervise the issuance and maintenance of manufacturing and test work authorization documents for all programs per authorized documents in support of master production schedule, stores and shop capacities.Supervise activities to ensure accurate tracking of scrap, stock purge, split and rework activities. Ensure issuance of replacement parts in a timely manner.
