Warehouse And Distribution Process Manager
• Had led responsibility for the movement of the spare parts process to improve the pick and pack operation. Using experience from the Stores operation it took under six months to develop the Spares storage to improve rich pack and receipt operations. This led to a reduced order waiting time from 1 week to 2 days or less. This ultimately improved customer satisfaction from both internal and external customers. In real times this equated to improved order output of 60% in a weekly basis. A ‘just in time’ working methodology had been implemented• After approximately three years after the above achievement, the production facility outgrew the warehouse operation. Due to this, the business purchased a second warehouse facility. I was the project lead for this program, ensuring that the day to day operation of the existing warehouse was not affected by this change.• After eight years it was decided to have the one larger warehouse operation. I had the lead responsibility of leading this project from its infancy until it was fully operational. This facility is now the main distribution centre for the Aga Rangemaster group.
