Property Management just happened for me, very naturally and organically. I started slowly renting my own properties, then the properties of some family, then friends and so on. In this past role I supervised several employees in a team atmosphere in the manufacturing and production of mission-critical raw materials, biofuels, and commercial alcohols for a plant that operates 24/7/365. I ensured compliance with quality assurance standards while coordinating daily with management to achieve production targets and health and safety goals. My contributions include:> Lead a team that was responsible for operating a highly automated facility that runs in 12-hour shifts, 365 days per year. > Collaborate with team members and management to develop and implement innovative and cost-effective safety solutions.

I built and grew this firm to handle numerous construction and renovation projects from planning and initiation to execution, monitoring, and day-to-day management in Tobago. Highlights include:> Planned and executed the two-year development of a Black Rock Dreams waterfront condominium, overseeing the project from concept to completion. Led teams of employees and sub-contractors while ensuring compliance with all regulations, quality standards, and health and safety protocols.> Directed the six-month teardown and renovation of the Blue Marlin Bar, including overseeing project timelines, budgets, and compliance. Contributed to team building and training efforts while developing and implementing cohesive policies and standards. Coordinated daily business operations for several months prior to transfer to business owners.> Headed planning, launch, and daily operations of the first premium fitness center on the island. Directed team building, training, and employee development while overseeing payroll and compliance. Achieved significant operational growth prior to selling the business to the local government, the Tobago House of Assembly.

During this time, I was stationed at the Bruce Nuclear Station in Tiverton, Ontario, Foster-Miller Canada, performing boiler water lancing and inspection work during outages. I was involved with all aspects of staging, setup, and teardown of process equipment and operations as well as control room duties involving document writing and monitoring of process controls.

At Crawford Metal, I promoted the sale of structural steel to industrial clients, driving strong profit margins on new contracts while improving relationships with existing accounts. In addition to sales, I handled purchasing duties for specialty products and served as Health & Safety Coordinator.
