Interacting with the customer for production of the most ergonomic, cost-effective design compliant with part specifications and high regard for quality and sustainability. Designing tools, gages, and special machines for varied Automotive, Medical, and Aerospace manufacturers. Specializing in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing through AutoCad and SolidWorks. SPECIAL PROJECTS-While sub-contracted to the Delphi Vandalia plant from 1989-1992, I was responsible for all the gaging for three product lines: ball joints, brake linings, brake hoses. In 1992, maintaining those responsibilities, I took over the Home Avenue plant, adding engine mounts, light flex springs, and compound and mix. With the procurement of gages with the six product lines, I was also in charge of all calibrations for both facilities. I interacted with Engineering and Product Design to guarantee that part print specifications were better aligned and compliant with A.S.M.E. Geometric Tolerancing Dimensioning Standards. This way, from a global standpoint, the dimensioning requirements for the parts approval process could be clearly understood.
