Early in my college career I decided that I wanted to do something more than the average man. As such, I joined the military. The Navy put me through training and work as a nuclear rated machinist mate.When I decided to move on, I stayed in the field of maintenance and production (primarily.) I'm no stranger to OSHA, hazardous working conditions, long hours or less than ideal circumstances in general. I've worked with everything from concentrated acids, protective chemicals and fume hoods to conveyors, automated fabrication/production systems and robotics.I put a great deal of effort into keeping up with global events and the overall state of the world as ignorance can be fatal. Outside of that I try to pick up skills in areas that will benefit my long term plan which is get a boat, build enough infrastructure to make it independently livable and make it into my home.
