My career began in the television broadcast industry where I soon moved up to direction and production of commercials and documentaries.Before long I decided to start my own production company producing corporate information, safety, promotional programs and television commercials. It quickly grew from a film production company to a facility with a sound mixing theater servicing a variety of clients.Some productions won awards from the well known Chicago Film Festival and the Canadian Film and Television Association.I became a member of the SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) and numerous photographic and technical organizations.It was a privilege to work with celebrities, Hollywood stars and world leaders, including Presidents, Canadian Prime Ministers and even Queen Elizabeth II.As production became more computer based I moved into computer systems and software. Technology dictated a change so I opened a video production and post-production facility featuring all the latest technology. Soon I realized my experience in commercial, corporate and informational program production would make the transition to website design and production a logical move.In 2002 I formed Tyler Digital Media, offering my expertise in visual communications and advertising to website design and information technology.Also, in 2002, I accepted a position leading the Internet department of a large automotive dealership where I became responsible for on-line product images and maintenance of the corporate website, resulting in a significant increase in sales. l was soon promoted to Information Technology Director, a position I held until 2013 After moving to Utah in 2016 I found the services offered by Tyler Digital Media were not easy to find in Utah. So,I decided to move the company here and in 2018 Tyler Digital Media opened in Utah. The company now provides the skills and expertise gained by more than 20 years in the production industry to companies of all sizes.
