Promoted to manage a product development team across 4 global offices, a book of business worth $10 million. Team Accomplishments:-Created the first of its kind "Universal Enrollment File" in place of carrier insurance forms. This saved our Operations team thousands of hours of maintenance (~16% of all support tickets). -Collaborated with our India engineering team to increase the number of automated insurance enrollments by ~20%. (Non-automated enrollments have a 3x error rate).- Collaborated with engineering to create an ingestion tool that automated the creation of insurance renewals, saving end users an average of 10 weeks of manual work.-Managed relationships with executive contacts at national ancillary carriers (Guardian, Unum, MetLife, Principal Financial, Ameritas, etc) to accomplish the above mentioned. -Side Project: UX Designer for LTD, STD, and Supplemental Health products.Our team worked with offices globally in the following locations: San Francisco, Tempe, Bangalore, Vancouver, and Manila.

After 6 months as an analyst I was promoted to Manager.-Delivered quarterly performance reviews, individual development plans, and implemented KPIs for a team of 13 analysts.-Worked with our product managers and engineers to re-design the UX of our Life and Disability product resulting in a massive error reduction for our team (>90%).-Pitched my first product creation and was assigned engineering resources for its build: The first of its kind automatic health plan creator that uses PDF parsing to minimize human manual data entry:-Reduced the average time to create a plan from 30 minutes to <1 minute and to reduce error rate to <1%.-Created product specs using HTML and Skitch to simplify the UI for end users.-Created an automated quality assurance system for the parser using SQL, Python, and JIRA.

This was my night/weekend job. I had the opportunity to run a science and technology student center. I was also a part time algebra tutor for some of the students I met during this time.

I was the video coordinator for the Boys/Girls Varsity Basketball programs. Coaches used this footage for film study to help prepare and improve throughout the season. Both programs continue to be some of the strongest in the state.
