Sr. Manager, Hr Business Partners
NorCal Cann is the largest vertically-integrated and direct-to-consumer cannabis platform in California. As the Sr. HR Manager, I was responsible for establishing and modernizing the People Operations and HR functions to support a hyper-growth organization of 1500+ employees growing 106% YOY. I was fortunate to lead a team of 5 HR Generalists and 3 HR Specialists that worked together to support the Executive Leadership Team, Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Operations teams. During this time, I also lead the HR technology steering and selection committee for complete overhaul of the org's HCM, recruiting, benefits, learning management, performance management, payroll, and timekeeping platforms in as part of a larger effort to modernize the HR organization. In addition, I partnered with General Counsel and CFO to run an internal audit of our existing labor policies, and then developed + implemented new processes and programs to guarantee compliance for all state and federal labor laws. Finally, I am proud of the work done with my team to lead a cross-functional effort to define NorCal Cann's Corporate Culture and supporting DEI programs.
