Responsible for oversight of a Category X airport cargo security compliance and enforcement program encompassing a team of six inspectors. Plan, develop, implement, administer, and evaluate aviation security inspection programs for compliance by air carriers.•Represent TSA as senior technical point of contact.•Review and analyze assessment reports and testing results identifying unusual trends that appear to have potential for developing a significant cargo security problem.•Provide management oversight and analysis of inspections and investigations, assigned work, set priorities, reviewed and evaluated work and performance of six employees.•Investigate security postures of regulated entities regarding current threat streams, vulnerabilities, and security gaps that exist within the aviation and freight forwarding community•Conduct analyses of applicable regulations for violations for adjudication of administrative, civil and/or criminal cases as well as cargo security programs regarding compliance, covert/overt testing, investigation, and physical security measures.•Identify trends and implement preventative solutions to risk-based security concerns.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:•Developed and instilled a teamwork mentality in a group of 6 inspectors. Over a period of 6 months, I provided guidance and direction resulting in an increase of both productivity and performance in each employee. The end results were that the team worked as one cohesive group.•Increased productivity of an unproductive team of inspectors not meeting work plan goals and objectives to exceeding goals and objectives by over 165 percent.•Planned, implemented, and executed an intra-agency Cargo Surge to accomplish over 45 regulatory inspections and over 300 security threat assessments encompassing 6 Cargo Facilities and over 25 regulated entities.•Mentored, trained, and developed for eight months, a struggling 3-year employee to promotion where none of my predecessors were successful.

During this time period I was promoted from G-band (GS-11) to H-band (GS-12) to I-band (GS-13), encompassing 12 different airports (Category X, I, II, III, IV) providing the experience to becoming a dynamic, results-oriented management professional with over 28 years of diverse experience encompassing: Aviation Security, Investigations / Inspections, Government Regulations, Airport Operations, Strategic & Tactical Planning, Project Management, Safety (OSHA CDSO), Business Analysis and Development, Customer Service, Policy Rollout, Cost/Performance Analysis, Recruiting/Team Building.•Managed and conducted evaluations of security procedures for 2 international airports servicing over 25M passengers and over 95M pounds of cargo enplaned annually.
