I have been programming since July 2021 and it surely has been quite a journey. Programming has a lot and I mean a lot of intricacies and nuances that could truly drive a person insane trying to keep up with it all but I embrace it. I love the complexity and the problem solving aspects of the craft and the satisfaction that comes after solving a problem that probably could’ve been solved in a couple hours but instead it took a couple days because you had to learn a million more things before solving your main problem but that’s the important part of the process. Since I’ve started my journey there’s been one thing I’ve developed more than the countless amounts of unfinished applications and finished apps alike that I have sitting on my external hard drive and that’s tough skin. Going under the hood to tinker with an application can be a daunting and slow process that will take a toll on you but through sheer perseverance and time I began to recognize I was gaining so much experience and credibility. Every problem I encountered and solved was another tool in my indefinite tool box to use for future problems. I started realizing why certain system design patterns are the norm through experience and that’s truly left an impact on me. I now look forward to becoming a Software Developer/Engineer and extending my skills in Java, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript to a great team of individuals who can help me become a better programmer and also allow me to produce great solutions for all types of business problems.
