During my internship at the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic, I gain hands-on experience in the public sector, focusing on various aspects of transport and construction policy, planning, and administration. My responsibilities include:• Assisting in the development and analysis of transport and construction policies and projects.• Supporting senior officials with research and data collection on transportation and construction trends and regulations.• Participating in meetings and workshops, providing logistical and administrative support as needed.• Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation related to transport and construction initiatives.• Engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and the general public, to gather input and provide information on ministry activities.• Learning about the legislative and regulatory framework governing transport and construction in the Slovak Republic.This internship provides me with a unique opportunity to contribute to the national transport and construction agenda while developing valuable skills in policy analysis, project management, and public administration.
