Support, service and maintain Colerain Township's entire network, including all firehouses and Police Dept as well as admin buildings and direct upgrades and improvements as needed to bolster Colerain's network into advancing IT technologies while also striving to keeping Township expenditures to a minimum...Existing and completed Projects include: * Plan and perform upgrade/migration from OnPrem Exchange Server 2016 to M365 including Cloud Backup strategies and ETP Security + Encryption. * Upgrade AD Forest from Server 2008 to Server 2016 * Coordinate with Cincinnati Bell and install their hosted Emerge VOIP Phone solution, including reprogramming of all existing HP Procurve network equipment and at the same time saving the township approx. $2500/mo., replacing our older, antiquated system. * Physically redesigned and reconfigured server racks which included heavy power and cable management. * Redesigned entire network VLAN infrastructure into smaller more secure subnets. * Designed, Configured and Installed new centrally controlled HP Wi-Fi network infrastructure on separate VLAN's. Replacing the existing autonomous Access Points. * Designed the Township's disaster recovery plan and implemented with appropriate offsite storage location.Daily responsibilities include: -- Maintaining vendor/support servicer relationships and accounts -- Network monitoring, management. and daily configuration of the HP Procurve/Aruba network infrastructure -- Server management, including procurement of new machines, decommissioning old ones, and server movement. -- Server monitoring and maintenance. Maintain and manage DHCP scopes, DNS, user administration, including Exchange Server 2016/M365 Administration. -- Township user desktop/laptop services; troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software. -- User contact point for CBTS hosted Emerge VOIP system
