As the senior warfare officer within the STG team I also performed the duty of group operations officer, managing the administrative movements and training tasks for the rest of the Group. I additionally performed the duty of Divisional Officer for the Executive Branch officers and sailors within the Group.

Performed the duties of the Anti-Submarine Warfare staff instructor and Officer in Charge of the PWO Faculty. The role encompassed daily interaction with staff and students, lesson planning and delivery, alignment and deconflcition of student and staff movements and career management, review and development of naval tactical techniques and procedures.

Duties included the full gamut of real-time watchkeeping in a warships operations room (including weapons and sensor management and control, the conduct of military operations and exercise, communications management, implementation of Rules of Engagement, implementation of Maritime Interception Operations etc), acted as the Divisional Officer (personnel line manager) for the Combat System Divison, fulfilled the role of Short-Mid-Long term planning Officer, international liasion Officer, Part of Ship Officer (shipboard maintenance management), and 'Mate of the Upperdeck' (Officer in Charge of Seamanship and the ship's Upperdeck appearance).
