Starting his career in CE distribution at Widget in 2008 Rob has a wealth of experience supporting the launch and development of some of the most exciting and disruptive brands in CE over the past decade including TomTom, Fitbit and Sphero. Partnering with the vast majority of well known retailers within the CE sector as part of a small team at Widget, Rob supported the successful growth of the business from £16m to £130m before Widget was ultimately acquired by CMS in 2016.Early in 2017 Rob joined Sphero as part of a small international sales team where he worked to broaden the brands reach and grow revenue. Helping to launch Sphero’s extremely successful Star Wars licensed products Rob found exciting ways to showcase and create engaging experiences in retail across EMEA. Developing the online business at Sphero was also a core focus, planning strategic online activations and promotions with key partners and in particular with Amazon led to significant growth in this area.In addition to having worked closely with the majority of tier 1 CE retailers in Europe, Rob has spent 8 years managing and developing skills around all aspects of online retail with a specific focus on Amazon and the best ways to optimise brand presence for success.
