CurrentI am working as an independent expert and Team Leader in the project "ProFEB II/ Component 2: Environmental Awareness”, (ProFEB II), funded by GIZ. The main goal of for this component is mainstreaming and upscaling the previously implemented Promotion of Climate-related Environmental Education (ProCEEd) approach and service models with Government and Civil Society, especially in two new provinces and the Vientiane Capital. The key will be in strengthening the partnership between MoNRE/DEQP and civil society organisations (CSOs) to enhance the roll-out of methods, instruments and knowledge required for environmental education and awareness-raising (EEA) in a multi-level approach, enhanced through the development of effective stakeholder dialogue platforms and financially sustainable business model for EEA advisory services that Laos stakeholders can market to International donors and private sector companies (through their CSR programs) to increase protection of Laos natural resource base and biodiversity heritage. .The overall aim of ProFEB is curbing deforestation and biodiversity loss by promoting good governance within the forest sector and ensuring the effective management of protected areas. It increases and improves cooperation between government actors and CSOs in order to protect and sustainably use forest ecosystems and biodiversity by institutionalizing models of cooperation between these stakeholders.

I worked with Magic Eyes for 8 years. Firstly, My main goal was in assisting Magic Eyes with the developing and launching an innovative outdoor experiential learning program on the Chao Phraya River; The Magic Eyes Chao Phraya Barge Program. My positions of responsibility were firstly as field instructor and program coordinator for the Magic Eyes Chao Phraya Barge Program. I worked with the barge program for 5 years, during which time the program was recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as one of six ‘best practice EE programs’ in the Asia-Pacific region (2001). In addition, the water ecology and water quality testing program that he designed and lead was honored by Canada Fund as one of the top 25 funded projects out of over 700 that they supported in Thailand during their time in Thailand. The program’s innovative education programming continues today as the Three Generations Barge Program. The latter three yeas at Magic Eyes, I worked in the position of Director of Education for the entire Magic Eyes organisation. As Director of Education for all of TECDA’s environment projects. I am especially proud of my work leading the curriculum development team for the Dawn Project (Rung Arun) funded by the Thailand Ministry of Energy.
