I was responsible for the Construction and Offshore Shutdown of the Harbour Energy Lomond installation project in the North Sea, including leading shutdown activities. I also oversaw the Construction of Chrysaor Armada new Wells installation project in the North Sea in line with technical requirements. I delivered the Construction and Offshore Shutdown of the BP Chirag project in the Caspian Sea (Azerbaijan) including leading on shutdown activities.In this role I maintained the integrity processes and ensuring all scoping is fully documented and implemented in line with the schedule of works and risk assessments. I identified offshore resource requirements through reviewing the work schedule and project plan including the key elements of the critical path and method statements for safe site working. I reviewed the engineering, maintenance and operational designs and onsite works including material laydown and logistics, fabrication activities and final completion of works. I also supervised all onsite staff and ensuring works were complete in line with work scheduling as part of delivering on time and within budget. I utilised daily meetings to understand various operational and construction activities to identify risks and coordinate resources to mitigate safety issues including reviewing simultaneous operations (SimOps).I coordinated shift working including briefings and daily progress meetings throughout the shutdown implementation phase and works. I reviewed work complete against the project plan to identify progress issues and prioritise the use of resources to mitigate any delays or cost escalations. I monitored safety performance and ensuring a positive safety culture is adopted at all times to drive safety performance and aim for a zero-harm record.

I was responsible for undertaking electrical work packages in line with client drawings and procedures including installation, testing and final acceptance of works. This involved reviewing and monitoring electrical equipment logs and operating and maintenance standards including Portable Appliance Testing. I also inspected, terminated and tested cable and wiring systems and ensured all works were complete in line with designs, industry best practice and final user specifications.
