• Seadrill West Phoenix & West Eminence Semi SubmersiblesSeconded to the Seadrill project execution team to deliver two 6th generation DP semi-submersibles (West Phoenix and West Eminence). Duties included:
• Liaising with Shipyard and Drilling Package vendor on outstanding issues and coordinating the commissioning activities on board the West Pheonix.
• Co-ordination of the remaining workscope and commissioning activities during the transit of the first rig (West Phoenix) from Korea to Bergen, Norway. Vessel departed Samsung shipyard in April 2008.
• Coordination of activities in Las Palmas for 2 month duration, liaising with local agents and fabrication facilities as required.
• Coordination of remaining project activities in CCB, Bergen for a period of 2 months.
• On return to Korea, assist with the coordination of the remaining commissioning activities on board the second semi-submersible (West Eminence) which was delivered Q1 2009.

• Responsible for the refurbishment on the Goodwyn Alpha Drilling Facilities in preparation for future workover and drilling campaigns following a period of 5 years warm stacking.
• Site survey on board GWA to assess existing rig condition
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers for detailed scope for re-activation
• Evaluate the detailed workscope required for re-activation for equipment and systems
• Provide a cost estimation for the overall workscope for submission to management for approval
• The drilling program for the GWA was postponed therefore the re-activation workscope was not carried out on board at that time.
