From West Palm Beach To Hialeah, Florida

A joint venture between Herzog Contracting Corp., Granite Construction Inc., and Washington Group valued at over $350 million. We built over 46 miles of new rail road track, corresponding train stations, bridges, and 72 roadway crossings. This new track was added beside an existing track. The work was done while keeping the other track operational during construction. Also known as "live track work". I assisted with cut and fill operations, creation of retention areas, removal of organic materials, placement of ballast rock, ties and rails.
