Expanded my existing Technical Assistance role at Peugeot-Citroën to include supervisory skills. I am the UK Reference for Automatic, Manual and Piloted Gearboxes.My role involves weekly Skype meetings with Engineers in France and attending quarterly update meetings in France in order to report new vehicle issues and work on solutions, liaising with departments in France, the UK and the dealers. I am also responsible for training and updating my colleagues in Coventry and abroad with new technologies and solutions and dealing personally with more complex vehicle problems within my specialist field. All problems that cannot be solved by other platform assisters are now resolved by me by liaising with the Workshop Technicians or by carrying out a personnel Dealer visit. I make up Technical Reports and create items for our Database for all new issues.

I work on all aspects of vehicle diagnosis, assisting technicians from all around the world, providing diagnostic assistance via telephone and e-mail to the Peugeot-Citroën network.My job requires me to have an in-depth technical ability to analyse information sent in, diagnose all mechanical and electrical systems and to have good communication skills when speaking to technicians. Above all the aim is to produce a rapid “First time Fix” to any problem.I am also required to validate parts replacement for warranty purposes, so must liaise with the warranty department and customer care. I have travelled abroad to Hungary, Sweden and France for my job in order to gain experience and carry out training to other Peugeot-Citroën assistance platforms.

I also had to liaise with Citroën Technical and customers.My job also required me to train any of the other technicians as they needed it, complete quality checks on repair work done and organise and maintain the workshop data library to cut diagnosis time and improve the quality of repair work.
