As a member of the learning design team I support the fulfillment of online and blended tertiary programs. The university's online learning portfolio extends across multiple platforms and delivery modes, including transnational and domestic cohorts, and a global social learning platform. A wide range of online offerings means the scope, audience and asset requirements of projects often vary and I adapt my practice accordingly. Across a project timeline I am responsible for establishing an engaging student experience, coordinating asset development, meeting milestones, and communicating with stakeholders and collaborators.Successfully implementing a new design requires maintaining productive relationships with academic staff, subject matter experts and media production professionals. Alongside supporting teaching staff with unit designs and educational technologies, I provide expertise in matters of copyright, intellectual property, and online accessibility. Support extends beyond the design and development process with review and evaluation of the pedagogical effectiveness of products and services provided, followed by taking appropriate action to enhance process, structure and assets.

    Melbourne, Australia
Responsible for planning and executing the development of accessible video, graphic and interactive learning content for digital tertiary and vocational coursework across multiple disciplines. Working within an operational project environment, I specialised in the development of e-learning content designed in collaboration with vendors, subject matter experts and learning designers. Emphasis in the role was placed on ensuring that new product offerings were innovative, high quality and demonstrated best practice of digital pedagogy, whilst also capable of being rapidly developed and released to market. All output was suitably developed for multiple learning management systems and different configurations through consultation with information technology professionals. Engagement and collaboration with academic and teaching expertise was critical in our teams development process. Producing a range of assets for the online learning environment involved evaluating the most effective format for different course materials and planning a development schedule accordingly. This was further practiced alongside learning designers as needs were identified to redesign student activities that aligned to intended learning outcomes and additional assets were required.
