Legal experience ranges from negotiating contracts and nevigating teh regulatory process for new nuclear plant construction, and performing due diligence and drafting documents for power plant purchases and sales and supporting related litigation, to counseling utility clients and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) contractors, and drafting U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license applications and amendments and filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Technical expertise includes oversight of all aspects of nuclear plant operations, having been licensed by the NRC as a Senior Reactor Operator, having been a power plant and fuel-handling supervisor and a high voltage switching instructor.Goals include being part of the project team to complete development of a new nuclear power plant, running a utility's legal department, and transitioning to the business side and working as a member of senior management at a major utility.Specialties: I represent CPS Energy as Deputy GC and Assistant Secretary.
