Profile bio

About Robert Thomas

I am an explorer who likes to discover new things and help the world around me understand them. I had personal reasons to stay here in Fort Atkinson, WI that were coming to an end, just as the COVID-19 epidemic hit. This summer, I am putting my CNA license to good use through Christian Servants. In the fall, I plan to continue with Teachers On Call (TOC). Not sure if this will be the final direction or just another twist on the journey back to work full time.

Listed skills include Public Speaking, Scuba Diving, Business, Curriculum Design, and 23 others.

Substitute Teacher

Current

Teachers On Call called me. It seemed like a great fit. I can explore teaching and communicating in a variety of environments and topics. They need someone willing to take a 5am phone call, drive through Wisconsin weather at its most challenging, show up with a smile, and teach everything from first grade letters to high school calculus with the odd recess duty thrown in for fun. They honored me with being the WI Substitute of the Month for March 2020.
