Starting and directing an after school program funded by the 21st Century Community Learning Grant and the School Age Child Care Grant, which aims to meet local and Indiana Department of Education CORE standards. I have planned all aspects of the program, family involvement, and parent education and community involvement. The program not only provides educational enrichment opportunities but also meals and snacks, reimbursed using the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).The program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools. The program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.

Planning, staffing, and facilitating YMCA events such as Leaders Rally, Youth and Government, Wellness Weekends, and Family Camps. 3. Responsible for program development and implementation of recreational and educational classes to students. Assistance with planning, development, and effectuation of weekend retreat programs. Topics include the design and instruction of classes in team building, high and low ropes elements, wildlife ecology, water ecology, forest ecology, environmental topics, orienteering, crafts, and survival, among others. Facilitating team building focused on communication, problem-solving, leadership, and self-esteem.

Responsible for the upkeep and, if necessary, replacement of program equipment ranging from sports balls to inflatable water toys and 3 Air Nautique Ski Boats.
