Of all of the workshops to lead, my favourite are from the leadership suite and to teach others to become workshop leaders to join the IBEN family.

I have been trained by the Council of International Schools, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Latin American Heads Conference as a Team Member on School Accreditation visits. For CIS I attended my first visit at a school in The Bahamas in 2014, and Co-Chaired my second visit at a school in Santiago de Chile in 2015. For NEASC I attended my first school visit in the Dominican Republic in 2016.In July 2016 I was trained and qualified as an IB Educator to lead worskshops and participate as a School Visit Team Member for the IB within the IB Educators Network.

I was voted to sit on the Executive Committee of AACBI (Asociación Andina de Colegios de Bachillerato International - The Andean Association of IB Schools), and subsequently to represent our country's national organisation as the President before the IBO. The dedicated Executive Committee is formed of IB educationalists from Bogotá, Cali, Medellín and La Guajira. Together we worked hard to represent all IB schools who are affiliated with us, to support schools who aspire to join the ranks of IB World Schools, to provide training to IB teachers on the ground here in Colombia and to promote the IB among national univeristies.

In August 2018 I was appointed to work as the Executive Director of The Victoria School for a one year period of transition in order to build synergy between Colegio Gran Bretaña and The Victoria School.

I was the President of the Colombian National Committee for the United World College Movement. The legal name of this organisation in Colombia is "Acomundo" (Asociación Colombiana de los Colegios del Mundo Unido). This organisation consists of a team of volunteers, some of whom are ex-students, and some who simply believe in the UWC Mission and wish to support it with their time, energy and commitment. I worked as a volunteer for my "Gap Year" between finishing my IB and beginning my first degree. I was a volunteer teacher in the Secondary School, and lived in the "becoming independent" house as a youth worker with the orphans, helping them prepare for life outside of the orphanage. Learning from, and working with, the very dedicated teachers there, who were able to use the limited resources available with which to quite literally weave magic, inspired me to go into teaching later in life.
