I am a Registered Professional Land Surveyor licensed in Texas, a Registered Land Surveyor licensed in Georgia and a Professional Land Surveyor licensed in South Carolina. I started surveying in 1972 and have been surveying ever since. I plan on remaining in surveying. I have told my sons and anyone I have mentored that Surveying is the best profession one could ever hope to find, it combines: history; mathematics; social studies; astronomy; computer sciences; forensic sciences; archaeology; political sciences; geography; geology; forestry; it brings you in contact with people; places you in solitude; you get to meet nature up close and personal; it uses some of the most advanced hardware and software made by man, practicing one of the world's oldest professions and once you learn it, it will pay you for the rest of your life.I have been granted a chance to change my evil ways, cast out the no work demons that have plagued me for the last year or so and practice the profession that has sustained me for my adult life, Land Surveying.
