My primary responsibility was to procure items upon request, including electronics, software licenses, furniture, event materials, office supplies, etc. I assisted major library functions including those within our libraries and at those formed through our various partnerships such as the Howard County Public School System. I was the first to serve as the Centralized Meeting Room Coordinator for the 9 publicly available meeting rooms within the library system. During the transition period from branch responsibility to centralized booking, a colleague and I initialized the software, setting access parameters and functional limits. We established login/password assignments, created standard operating procedures, and taught staff use of the system through webinars and face-to-face training. I have assisted with other library activities such us our teen STEM program know as HiTech.
