Although technically retired, I continue to work with nonprofits, restaurateurs and entertainment venues on a limited basis. I am confining myself to the tri-state area. If you are local, the first consult is pro bono and can be valuable in determining your go or no. Over the past fifty years I have designed and renovated theaters, night clubs and restaurants as well as consulted on the performance specs for several education institutions and boards of education. I've also been involved second tier on several casino and hotel projects - mostly during the 70's and 80's. I've come to the rescue as "shadow consultant" - having corrected and cleaned up projects that required severe 'tweaking' on their road to completion. Non disclosures limit my naming these multiple projects but my discussion quickly displays that I've 'been there - done that' and done so successfully. In the course of my career I have; designed and operated motion picture theaters, live performance venues and the like. I booked major entertainment and Broadway tours over a thirty years period and provided several free performances for the local university which saw a local performance of John Houseman's The Cradle Will Rock which originated at the Kennedy Center in D.C.. I brought Siobhán McKennaa - first lady of the Irish Theatre and Judith Anderson's production of Hamlet to the local stages. I've been involved wish several national promoters and producers including those in the Cleveland area and Tom Mallow of American Theatre Productions in NYC. I also have an extensive background as a professional actor, stage manager and director resulting in scores of professional productions for more than 60 years. I continue my Actors' Equity affiliation and was previously a member of SAG and AFTRA.
