I spent 12 years as a strategy and economics consultant in PwC’s Strategy& practice in London. I specialised in building large-scale, transformational business cases, using economic, policy and strategic analysis to help my clients make better long-term investment decisions.I gained broad industry experience from serving clients across both the public and private sector, from start-ups to large multinationals. Most recently I have focussed on the central government, transport and the wider infrastructure sector. My clients included the UK Space Agency, HM Land Registry, Network Rail and Highways England, where my work has helped to deliver business case approvals for over £30bn of capital investment.I developed particular expertise in horizon scanning and developing new points of view through thought leadership and my role leading PwC's Country Risk Service. I managed PwC's campaign on the long-term global trends that will shape the commercial landscape: the megatrends. As part of this work, I led PwC's perspective on the Sharing Economy. My research has been quoted in the international media, including the Financial Times and Bloomberg, and I have written articles for leading publications such as Strategy+Business and CityAM.In 2014, I achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

I interned in the HM Treasury department responsible for government and tax policy of physical and financial assets.I supported work into a number of areas of public policy analysis. I conducted a cross-country survey of the tax treatment of several aspects of HNWIs wealth and analysed the affect on personal saving and investment rates. I presented my findings to an audience of other Treasury departments.
