I am a partner in the Securities and Capital Markets Group and Investment Management Focus Group of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP in Vancouver, British Columbia. My practice is focused on advising clients engaged in all aspects of the investment management industry, including investment fund managers, portfolio managers and dealers. I have experience advising clients in connection with the formation, management and operation of public and private investment funds in Canada, and the offering of their securities in public offerings and private placements. I also advise clients engaged in the investment management industry on matters relating to registration under Canadian securities laws. In addition, I have experience acting for public and private companies and underwriters in connection with mergers & acquisitions, public offerings and private placement transitions. I also have experience advising companies on general corporate matters, disclosure obligations and corporate governance matters.
