42 years in Property and Casualty Insurance Claims, from trainee to VP. Managed 135 FTE Claims Dept. for last 26 years of my career. After retiring from Farm Bureau after 35 years joined Brightclaim as Marketing and Account rep for the Farm Bureau accounts, retired from Brightclaim in March 2021. Also involved in catastrophe response from Hurricane Hugo in SC in 1989 through all storms impacting the Gulf Coast until the present. Also skilled in litigation management for my entire career. Attained Certificate in General Studies as well as Associate in Claims. Completed most of CPCU designation. Served as Secretary, Vice President and President of the Southeastern Claims Management and currently serve as a Board Member of that organization.Serve as volunteer leader for Boy Scouts of America as Council Commissioner for Istrouma Area Council. Awarded the Silver Beaver and Distinguished Commissioner Awards.I have two Eagle Scout sons and have served as Assistant Scoutmaster, Committee Chair and Advancement Chair for Troop 1 in Baton Rouge (the oldest Scout troop in Baton Rouge).Attend First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge and currently serve as President of Wesley Fellowship Sunday School class.I am a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Along with my two brothers in SC we own and operate a tree farm raising saw and pulp tender.
