As head of the Product Design & Regulatory Disclosure team, we primarily deal with the technical and regulatory requirements of creating and maintaining all the mutual fund families in TDAM. Working closely with our business partners, we prepare the MRFP, Simplified Prospectus and Annual Information Form for each fund family as well as the Fund Facts for all series of each mutual fund. Collectively, this information gives investors insight into the rules, fees, objectives, holdings and performance of our mutual funds and permits them to make more informed investment decisions. I am proud to be part of such a highly dedicated team, who not only ensure all our regulatory requirements are met, but in doing so, embrace teamwork, leadership, communication and customer focus. Created full spectrum of reasonability tests to monitor out-sourced fund accounting, financial reporting and tax preparation. Coordinate financial statement production, audit, tax, distributions, rates of return, and special projects for CIBC mutual funds.

Handled all facets of accounting including corporate accounting, fund accounting, trust accounting and portfolio accounting. Re-engineered the entire accounting flow process including full documentation and integration of new systems.

Held various positions starting in customer service and culminating as Manager, Financial and Performance Reporting. Responsible for preparation and coordination of financial statement production, annual audit, tax returns, distributions, rates of return, special projects and system enhancements for Mackenzie mutual fund trusts and corporations, partnerships, unit trusts and segregated funds (third party)
