As a leisure assistant I made sure that customers using the facility were safe when swimming in one of 4 pools. Educating and informing the customers if they were ever carrying out an activity that were deemed dangerous. I was also required to participate in light cleaning jobs around the leisure centre, and help maintain the hygiene standards set by Birmingham City Council.

My role as a Marketing and Media executive at City Centre Investments involved writing content focusing on the current property market. This role required extensive research into the student property and buy-to-let property market. This role gave me the chance to research the current buy-to-let property market, whilst also the experience at writing content for a professional investment consultancy.

As part of my role as a Social Media intern at Simon Harper PR, it was my job to gather research on current and upcoming theatre productions in the UK. Simon Harper PR specialises in arts and theatre PR so an excellent understanding of the industry; as well as a keen interest was very beneficial to me. This unpaid role gave me the opportunity to work in a professional public relations position and also build my experience within the industry.

As a Camp Counsellor and Lifeguard at the camp, I was required to make sure that the campers were participating in their daily activities and also be there as a support figure, if and when they needed it. As a lifeguard, I worked at the waterfront and helped out on the boating side. Setting up kayaks and canoe's for the campers when they wanted to use them.
