- Managed 5 operational sites and 3 non-operational sites located in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Belfast with >120 staff across all sites - Assumed full P&L ownership of Northgate’s NI & ROI operations and provided strategic direction and insight into market, trends and future growth opportunities as a participative member of Northgate’s Board of Directors (Ireland) - Expanded Northgate’s operations in NI and ROI and tripled company turnover between 2014 - 2018- Played a key strategic role in establishing and developing the business of 3 Van Monster sites in NI and ROI selling quality used commercial vehicles to businesses and private customers - Led a change and transformation programme and restructure of key personnel across all sites to deliver an agile, profitable and quality vehicle hire service which exceeded corporate goals - Project managed and negotiated the relocation of Cork, Limerick and Head Office operations to larger rental sites resulting in vehicle hire doubling from 2k pa to 4k pa- Restructured the Maintenance Division, recruited key personnel and introduced split shifts to deal with volume of work which resulted in enhanced utilisation of technician resource and increased efficiency levels - Assumed full control of the procurement of parts, spares and vehicle recovery in Ireland, and liaised with key suppliers up to Chief Executive level to negotiate pricing and Service Level Agreements - Monitored and periodically reviewed rental fleet to ensure it met business demands and put measures in place to maximise profit when selling vehicles - Identified service gaps and designed a 5-module customer excellence training programme for all staff from frontline to management which resulted in an uplift in the company’s Net Promoter Score - Took a zero-tolerance approach to Health and Safety across all sites, turned around weak performing sites in ROI, and consistently exceeded audit target of 95%

Scotland And Northern Ireland

- Appointed to turnaround underperforming Aberdeen, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh sites and brought all 4 sites back in line with corporate and customer expectations - Expanded Northgate’s operation in N Ireland alongside Scotland due to strong operational and commercial performance- Provided leadership support to the Customer Service Department, Rental Division, Logistics Division and Workshop Division and streamlined business processes to ensure contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLA’s) and budget / KPI targets were met - Led the team across all sites to achieve KPI's, maximise effectiveness of company resources, maintain high levels of safety and minimise environmental impact- Introduced a new robust IT system to ensure the business was fit for purpose resulting in a significant improvement in customer service and logistics functions

Scotland And Northern Ireland

- Managed the operational and budget performance of 5 major workshops across Scotland and N Ireland and brought budgets back in line - Led 5 workshop managers, 30 technicians and 16 administration staff and oversaw all aspects of the recruitment, selection, training and performance

- Restructured the Vehicle Maintenance, Rental/Customer Service, Finance, Credit Control and Sales Divisions and turned a company loss of £100k into £100k profit within 2 years- Project managed the relocation of the business to a larger site and managed landlord and contractor negotiations
