Responsible for managing a portfolio of properties including Adult Healthcare, Specialist services · Developing Operational, Maintenance and Project Budgets, along with Capital Expenditure forecasting and control.· Ensuring facilities meet all HSE & legal regulations.· Providing technical advice and assistance to managers and senior managers within the group, on their facilities management, health and safety issues and construction / project activities.· Recruitment and development of the operational, maintenance and utilities staff, and for their performance management. Ensuring appropriate targets and expectations are identified, communicated and achieved and any concerns raised are satisfactorily resolved and documented.· Providing out of hours assistance and technical advice to managers.· Ensuring reactive and preventative maintenance work is prioritised and carried out in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.· Ensuring the completion of contracts on schedule and within budget, while meeting all contract obligations, health, safety and quality standards.· Overseeing staff training, development and morale. Ensuring all staff remain competent and adequately trained for any task within their job remit.
