Rob Whiteside has 18 years’ experience in the Traffic Signal industry, working in both the private sector and local government. He began his career as a Traffic Signal maintenance engineer progressing to Test and Commissioning before moving into local authority and is now a Principal Engineer in the UTMC section of Kirklees Council. Rob attained a DipHE in Electronic Design (BSc pathway) at the University of Huddersfield then BSc (Hons) In Integrated Technology while working in Local Authority and is currently working towards IEng accreditation. Having worked his way up through various roles, Rob is able to apply his wide technical knowledge to the design, operation, implementation and delivery of high-quality schemes.
