• Complete ‘end to end’ payroll process inc. RTI and year end submissions to HMRC.• Sole responsibility for production and accuracy of monthly payroll.• Calculation of employee bonuses, using defined engineer bonus structure.• Responsibility for the upload of payroll payments, employee expenses and tax liabilities to bank.• PAYE reconciliations.• Regular communication with contractors, providing subcontractor salary data.• Regular communication with HMRC, company pension provider and company share scheme co-ordinator.• Responsible for the clearance of audit payroll queries (top four accountancy firm).• Reporting to PLC head office, with clearance of any group queries.• Responsible for the migration of payroll data between group systems.• Training of colleagues at various locations within the group.• Continued development of bespoke payroll software.
