Coordinated scheduled work activities in conjunction with the work management system and wrote test procedures for coordinated testing of system design changes to ensure correct installation and maximize system performance.Gained valuable technical training on a variety of operating systems; received in-depth training on Terry Turbine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting as well as MODICON Program Logic Control operations.Led continuous improvement efforts in mechanical integrity, equipment availability, preventive maintenance, and safety awareness for the maintenance and engineering departments.Participated in six (6) refueling outages. Assisted the Condensate System Engineer in the inspection of the Main Condensers (steam side and cooling water side) and Hotwells for last five outages. Served as the Day Shift Lead Engineer for the Main Condenser inspection during the last refueling outage.Previously served as a Nuclear Power Electronics Technician in the US Navy. Received an Honorable Discharge as an E-5 after serving for six (6) years.
