I am a Data Analyst with NatWest Rooster Money. My current role sees me transforming data into actionable insights using Tableau. I work with a diverse group of businesses areas, including marketing, product and market research. I am part of a passionate team of Data Analysts and Engineers and together we champion best practice use of data, building data capabilities and understanding across departments. While my work is predominantly focused within Tableau, I also utilise Snowflake in order to explore and interrogate data sets, improving or creating tables where applicable.I began my career in Data and Analytics within Hallmark UK as a Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst, with responsibilities including building Tableau dashboards for both high level and granular analytics, and creating new data sources with Alteryx. I engaged with colleagues at all levels and areas of the business, including trading, sales, supply, ecommerce and creative, frequently presenting back granular analysis and performance headlines for both data literate and less data literate audiences. I also have previous experience working as a Merchandiser for both Hallmark and Asda. While at Asda, I worked in General Merchandise, on a variety of product areas, from lighting, to fireworks, to small domestic appliances, and worked in both bricks and mortar store teams, as well as in the george.com ecommerce team. Aside from the day to day trading and reporting of performance (Everyday and Seasonal e.g. Christmas), I managed the P+L, markdowns/markups, promotions, supplier meetings, range/assortment planning/sign-offs, cutdowns, stock holding and forecasting (line level and high level).
