Roberta Joseph is a pharmacy student at Nova Southeastern University who currently works as a Patient Safety Attendant at HCA Healthcare. In this position, she ensures patient safety and well-being. Roberta's passion for the healthcare field and working with those with mental illnesses has caused her to pursue a career as a pharmacist with a specialty in trauma and psychiatry. With the experience she has in patient care and the understanding of the dynamics of the healthcare environment, she can thrive in challenging roles. Certifications such as Crisis Prevention Intervention training has help her in de-escalation with patients and helped with effectiveness in the field and improved patient care.
