I quickly become a subject matter expert on assigned cases, enabling me to effectively prepare exhibits for partner, client, judge, and opposing counsel presentations. Using my extensive “consultant toolkit,” I helped advise firm partners on enhancing in-house cybersecurity policies and exploring new cloud computing providers. I researched the firm's Chubb and ALAS insurance programs to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-savings. Furthermore, I explored various time tracking tools and time management frameworks that could boost productivity firm-wide. This included evaluating solutions and making recommendations to partners.

In this hybrid role of Business Associate and Analyst, I was responsible for supporting four unique and concurrent projects. For our Federal government procurement and acquisitions client, I was our team’s Deputy Project Manager, responsible for overseeing daily goals and progress. In this capacity, I led daily stand ups, identified and elevated risks and blockers, developed AI-based automation recommendations, and ideated dashboard elements based on human-centered design sessions.Internally, I supported three additional projects in varying capacities. I tested end-to-end workflow and UX / UI design for an upcoming platform release. I created various scenarios and situations to try to expose bugs and flaws in the program. I tested the entire workflow of the software, providing feedback to the development team and the Creative Director.I led a small team of software developers through a security controls documentation project for a suite of AI-based programs. As the Process Owner for my team, I verified the documentation and evidence applicable to specific security control families. I also helped prepare my team for risk assessment and emergency scenario interviews. Additionally, I was the Project Manager for an internal Authority to Operate project. I oversaw a team of over 20 coworkers, including business analysts, developers, and consultants. I led the team through the preliminary stages of the overall project, including onboarding, training, and initial security control implementation statement fulfillment. I was responsible for developing several documents and frameworks critical to the success of the project. I was also responsible for proactively identifying risks and recommending potential mitigation solutions. I also advanced to quality-checking my team’s progress and to clearing complex questions regarding complicated bankruptcy cases. Additionally, I assisted in implementing improvements to our project’s SOPs and best practices, including assisting new team members.

As the Lead Implementation Consultant for Discourse Analytics, I led a five member team in identifying and mapping a specific strategy for DA to enter the telehealth vertical. Looking to expand its revenue streams from two verticals to three, I conducted secondary research and aggregation in order to identify emerging industries that would best fit with DA’s core competencies and mission.I identified the most plausible partnerships for entering telehealth, including hospital networks, insurance companies, and telehealth companies. I assessed and vetted potential companies to find the most compatible with DA’s desired outcomes. With the assistance of my colleagues, I delivered a comprehensive strategic analysis containing three immediate and actionable partnerships, an analysis of target market segments in the telehealth industry, and a quantification of provider and user adoption rates of the potential services. During the duration of this engagement, I was the main point of contact between my team and the c-suite executives at DA.

As a Business Communications Consultant, I advised both undergrad and graduate students in the art of business communications. I critiqued and offered advice for various communication mediums, including written and oral business communications. These included executive reports, professional presentations, memorandums, and additional projects related to their curriculum. Whether targeted to a CEO, a student, or a professor, I assisted students in finding the appropriate voice and tone for their target audience. In this role, I also developed a workshop for first-year MBA students geared toward tailoring their communications skills to an international audience. The workshop helped prepare the students for an international consulting engagement. Additionally, I participated in panel reviews for team presentation rehearsals and final deliverable presentations, providing feedback on strengths and areas for improvement and modification.

As the Lead Strategy Consultant for LegaciGlobal, I led a team of five consultants to create a comprehensive, from-the-ground-up, development plan for establishing a commercial-scale, high-end chocolate production enterprise in the island country of Dominica. This focused on the entire business operation, including all upstream and downstream operations. Through a lens of sustainability and value-creation for smallholder farmers, I conducted industry research, held stakeholder meetings, and conducted on-site ground research in Dominica. In this role, I oversaw proposal development, report delivery, and client management. I was the main point of contact between my team and the c-suite team at LegaciGlobal. I also finalized all financial and accounting projections, including revenue projections over a five-year span and projected costs associated with this enterprise.I led meetings with various stakeholders in Dominica, including the Kalinago people, The Ministry of Kalinago affairs, the Caribbean Agricultural Network, local chocolate producers, the Dominica Export and Import Agency, and the Caribbean Fine Cocoa Forum. Back in the United States, I led meetings with a Maryland-based chocolate producer. My team and I also created an investor prospectus for direct delivery to potential public and private investors. I conceptualized and created our ideas and recommendations from scratch. I made educated projections on how many cocoa pods could be grown on the island, using the Kalinago territory as a baseline. I designed the legal structure of the business entity, whether it was to be incorporated in the United States or in Barbados. I was able to leverage my passion for value added products and developing additional revenue streams by recommending producing chocolate byproducts, including cocoa tea, cocoa butter, lower-mid level chocolate bars, and cocoa powder. I also vetted and contacted potential buyers, including local, national, and international chocolatiers.

As a Poker Room Supervisor at Hollywood Casino in Charles Town, WV, I worked as part of the management team responsible for the daily operations of a high-volume poker room. I regularly supervised over 30 employees and 100-300 patrons at any given time. I helped initiate the transition from time-raked games to pot-raked games, allowing the poker room to operate more efficiently and increase revenue nearly 40%. This resulted in our poker room becoming the most profitable on the East Coast during this time. I served as the casino's first Tournament Director for our weekly series. I was responsible for monitoring individual tables, conducting all financial transactions, and completing related tax documentation, all while adhering to TDA and WV rules and regulations. I was nominated for and successfully completed Hollywood Casino's "Aspiring Leaders" Program. Through this program, I was equipped with the skills and knowledge to train and assist team members of the company’s gaming policies and procedures. I also mediated disputes between players in a professional and courteous manner.

I worked as a poker dealer at various casinos in Las Vegas. I dealt in mid- and high-volume casinos, including the annual World Series of Poker. In these various casinos, I dealt all stakes and variations of poker. I averaged 17-19 hands per half hour, as opposed to the normal 10-12 hands. This resulted in nearly doubling my given tables' revenues.
