As a member of the Content Design Group, my primary responsibility is to author vibrant and engaging narrative and assessment content across digital and print platforms for all U.S. History products. Drawing on subject matter expertise that reflects trends in contemporary scholarship, sound pedagogy to underpin dynamic, interactive learning experiences, and data-driven decision making, I create content that promotes measurable and meaningful learning outcomes for students. Focusing on products that leverage the latest educational technology to advance the study of history, I provide students with the tools to thrive in their higher education courses, develop historical perspective and critical thinking skills needed to contribute as citizens in our global society, and acquire skills to carry forward in preparation for the rapidly-evolving 21st-century workplace.

Sr. Learning Design Author and Consultant: Innovate and create digital course solutions for U.S. History; Research, write, edit, and review online original primary source-and textbook-based teaching materials for AP and undergraduate History courses; Focus on creation of interactive, media-neutral, user-centered digital course content that promotes critical analysis of historical materials; Identify, implement, and revise best practices for iterative development for use in the product and the organization more broadly; Advise colleagues across the organization on learning design principles, platforms, and product development; Serve as consultant on behalf of the Humanities Product Team and engage in cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

Research and organize content to facilitate the authoring of online homework solutions in the disciplines of History, including United States, World, and Western Civilization; Content designed to foster critical analysis of historical topics and promote engagement with the discipline through primary source-based exercises.

Provided research assistance to historian writing history of Jewish day school education in the San Francisco Bay Area. Duties included archival research of primary source materials, the digitization of source materials for preservation, and content development for accompanying website to text.

Filled reference requests for researchers and staffed the research room, performed holdings maintenance on textual and non-textual records, facilitated the physical moving of tens-of-thousands of cubic feet of records while increasing intellectual control by drafting new finding aids, box and folders lists, and creating new labels, staffed public outreach events for educators, students, and the general public with an emphasis on engagement with primary source materials.
