As manager at Village Goods I was in charge of purchasing, basic financial tasks, store operation, and all day-to-day functions of the retail business.

From late 2007 until my departure from SD #92 in October of 2009, I served as District Technology Coordinator, adding the following to my previous responsibilities:· Serving as District Data Contact for Ministry of Education reporting, including funding reporting. My care and attention to detail in this task saved the district significant time and money on several occasions.· Serving as liaison between District administrators and the technology department, communicating administrator priorities to the technicians and bringing technology issues to administrators' attention as necessary.· Acting as informal technology department manager, including developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, overseeing purchasing and budgeting, and ensuring educational technology needs were met.· Providing guidance and education technology integration support to the district 1:1 laptop program.· Providing guidance for the district adult education program, including sourcing new on-line curriculum, and compiling all adult program data collection information.

· Providing BCeSIS Level 1 phone and in-person support for 3 elementary schools, 1 K-12 school, and all district administration. I provided ongoing, formal and informal training on BCeSIS to all district staff, including elementary and secondary reporting, secondary timetabling, school set-up, and data collections reporting. I also worked closely with administrators on Ministry funding reporting and aboriginal data collections for local village governments.· Development and maintenance of the district website, as well as the ongoing support of the Macintosh Nisga'a language keyboard layout.· Providing professional development on various educational technology topics, including Web 2.0, blogging in the classroom, using wikis for professional and student learning, creating podcasts, effective web search strategies, as well as using applications such as Comic Life in the classroom.· Creating a web-based version of the BC Performance Standards, as re-written for use with students by Dr. Sharon Jeroski, to be used along-side Word in an integrated manner.During 2005, I worked on contract for SD #92, implementing BCeSIS throughout SD #92 Nisga'a. This included data migration (hand entered), initial school setup, training all secretarial staff, teachers, and administrators, and providing initial support for all schools.
